Danny Dover: Hello everybody. Welcome. I am very lucky to be joined the fantastic, Jen Lopez. Jen, thank you for joining me today.

Jen Lopez: Thank you for having me.

Danny Dover: Jen is the community manager at SEOmoz. Jen, can you tell me a little bit about what is SEOmoz and what do you do there?

Jen Lopez: SEOmoz is a software company, and we mainly have all kinds of resources for SEOs, social media strategist, essentially for your general inbound marketer. What I do there is I manage Tweeter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Plus now. We also have the blog, blog comments, and a user-generated blog, as well.

Danny Dover: You are a busy person, is what you are saying.

Jen Lopez: I am busy. I essentially talk to people all day long.

Danny Dover: It is true. She is being modest, too. If you have not heard of SEOmoz, it is the leading SEO company in the world. They have worked with some of the biggest brands in the world, as well as provide software for many of the biggest brands in the world; they are a big deal. You talked about some people have high numbers, some people are focusing more towards interaction. Can you tell me the pros and cons of those two areas?

Jen Lopez: To me, it does not matter. Let us say you have 250,000 followers and if you Tweet something and nobody responds, who cares? That number of followers does not mean anything. What you are really looking for is if you have 200 followers who interact, give you feedback, ask questions, and want to know more about your brand, company, small business, or want to know where you are located, whatever the case may be, that is a lot better than having just a bunch of numbers. I am always a fan of, 'I always track how many people are following us, but I also track how many replies we get, how many interactions on Facebook we get,' that sort of thing. It is important to see that altogether, and you really do not necessarily just want to look at the numbers.

Danny Dover: We are going to cut it off there, but do not worry, we have more Jen Lopez. She will answer more questions about what her processes are and how she does these different channels. Thank you for your time now. Stay tuned.

Jen Lopez: Thank you.
